I <3 Turkish dramas. Wrote a whole novella inspired by “Black White Love.”

…if all goes well I can go back to Turkish lessons at lunch though. I really, really want to be able to watch certain shows without subtitles.

And I am on a one-woman quest to make my Duolingo lessons use formal vous instead of informal tu. DON’T TALK TO ME LIKE WE’RE FRIENDS, DUO.

The dogs let me have a bit of a lie-in but are refusing to eat their breakfasts. Always a catch.

Have spent the afternoon listening to Cocteau Twins and chortling while stuffing a chapter full of Star Trek references and sabotage.

It’s been a while since I felt this good.

Of course next week subscribers will get the “Peti Jean and Gil Blamaíne kissing under a rose arch” chapter, which delights me to no end. I am positively WRIGGLING with anticipation.

Wow, you guys really like this idea. It’s just one chapter, though.

So far I’ve put Spock, Scotty, and Deanna Troi in. I’m trying to decide whether I want Kirk to be found shagging someone in a closet.

So I’m writing a Robin Hood in Space serial and this chapter (King Richard in the cold reaches of space) is going to be stuffed full of Star Trek references because crossing streams is fun.

You say "procrastinating", but I hear "doing side quests".

Time to quit yelling about the Silmarillion and take the dogs for a walk.

Just realized I might take some time off around Yule and write Fall of Gondolin fanfic just for meeeeee and honestly it’s the thing I’m looking forward to most this pandemic holiday season.

(The amount of time I spend yelling about the Silmarillion and the Borgias possibly explains quite a bit about my life choices…)

But ANYWAY to return to the POINT.

Book Eowyn was better.

You heard me. I said what I said.
