At some point in the last few years, we have:
) Viewed you through a scrying pool and/or mirror
) Crafted a double of you from blood and willpower and used it to manipulate your moods and actions and/or
) Sunk into a dark liquid pool, then rose again to the surface but the surface was your eyes, through which we saw all you saw, thought as you thought, as intimate as breath.
Due to new legislation, now we have to ask:
Can we keep doing all that?
@signalstation [ OK ] ↖️
You might notice that while there is an option "Yes, please continue" there is no option for "Please desist." This is a cost-saving method on our part because Tim in compliance pointed out that rather than casting a spell to compel you to choose the correct box we could simply remove the "desist" option and thus reduce our consumption of organic newt's eye.
Thank you for you compliance. We look forward to seeing through you again.
@signalstation Consent remains the same until such time as it is changed specifically. Please don't assume we are removing consent, because that upsets us more than spying on us like you always have been.
@signalstation This is my favorite play on the GDPR yet.
Magically moves the cursor to always stay on YES. Also
> Sunk into a dark liquid pool, then rose again to the surface but the surface was your eyes, through which we saw all you saw, thought as you thought, as intimate as breath.
Is this a Five Eyes metaphor? 🤔
@signalstation Only if you release the source code for your spells.
I'll take that as a contraction for "not yet" and will check back later.
@signalstation take a breath to confirm
